LEXINGTON, Mo. - Politicians and admirers will gather for the funeral of former Missouri Congressman Ike Skelton on Monday.
Funeral services will be held at Wentworth Military Academy in Lexington, Mo.
Gov. Jay Nixon has ordered all flags to be flown at half-staff Monday to honor Skelton.
Sunday, it was a packed house for visitation for the 17-term congressman in his hometown of Lexington.
Even more Missourians are expected to say a final goodbye Monday at the funeral, which begins at 2 p.m. The public is invited to attend the ceremony, which is expected to last about 20 minutes.
Skelton dies October 28. He was 81 years old.
