A family of six was displaced early Tuesday morning after a house fire in Kansas City, Missouri.
Fire officials said two adults and four children were asleep when the father woke up and smelled smoke between 12:30 a.m. and 1 a.m.
The fire started in the kitchen, but eventually spread to the attic of the home on 8th Street near Winner Road.
It’s unclear what caused the fire.
No one was hurt. The Red Cross is assisting the family.
