WYANDOTTE COUNTY, Kan. - It was a special day at Wednesday's T-Bones game for 91-year-old Jean Scott.
The resident of Delaware Highlands Assisted Living Center got to check something off her bucket list by attending a ball game.
"I use to go with my two daughters before they passed away," Scott said.
Delaware Highlands wanted to do more than take Scott to a game, so they organized a ride in a stretch limousine for her and eight of her friends.
When she arrived at the game, Scott was invited to throw the very first pitch.
"It was so exciting," Scott said. "I have never been on a big field like this before."
Scott said she was very grateful to Delaware Highlands for organizing the special experience.
