Friday's Royals-Indians game canceled because of rain

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Friday night's Royals game was canceled because of rain, according to a team spokesperson.

The Royals were set to play the Cleveland Indians at 7:10 p.m. The game will be made up as part doubleheader Sunday, starting at 1:10 p.m. The second game is scheduled for 7:10 p.m.

Fans attending the first game will have to leave Kauffman Stadium so crews can prepare for the later game.

Anyone with tickets for Friday's game can bring them to get in the 7:10 p.m. game Sunday, or exchange them for another game this season.
