We know the Royals are never a team that quits. They have won eight games in a row and the confidence is through the roof.
Sunday’s 2-1 win over the Twins was classic Royals where the defense dominated. Timely hits were clutch and the bullpen came together.
Danny Duffy has done a tremendous job, but you have to remember that he started the year off in the bullpen. He's now 11 and one and even though he didn’t have his best stuff today, the Royals found a way to back up the "Duff Man" to get the job done.
The Royals are still trying to catch Cleveland, but the key ingredient the Royals have is that they have been to the post season the last two years with plenty of camaraderie and they know exactly what it takes down the stretch to get back to the post season at the K.
