KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Despite Saturday night's loss, the Royals are hot right now.
Sunday night's game is considered a sellout.
The Royals haven't done this well this late in the season in 29 years.
The parking lot started filling up with fans at about 5 p.m. even though the game starts at 7:07 p.m.
The Royals asked for people to get to Kauffman Stadium early to avoid the traffic jam right before the game.
Fans were asked to wear blue to create a sea of blue when the game is televised.
It may be Labor Day weekend, but fans want to be a part of the momentum and a huge night for the Royals.
"This one’s a declared sell out, we have no more room. We're going to be on national television and we're going to try and pull out a win against the Indians, but it's very exciting to be the national stage tonight," fan Toby Cook said.
The game is being nationally televised on ESPN2.
