KU fans await NBA decisions by Wiggins, Embiid

UPDATE, 6:03 p.m.: In a response to a fan's question, the official KU Basketball Twitter account confirmed Selden was staying.

UPDATE, 5:55 p.m.: So much for that. Maybe. Selden's original tweet saying he was returning has since been deleted. But, Twitter posted minutes ago about a bug causing some tweets to not display.

ORIGINAL STORY: At least one of the Kansas Jayhawks' fab freshmen is going back to school.

Wayne Selden Jr. tweeted Tuesday afternoon he would return to school for his sophomore year, telling fans he couldn't wait to get back to Allen Fieldhouse.

His basketball bretheren await the word from teammates Andrew Wiggins and Joel Embiid on whether they will depart school for the NBA.

All three players were generally projected to be first-round draft picks in the June 26 NBA Draft. Wiggins and Embiid are projected to be among the first players selected should they choose to turn pro.
