The Kansas City Chiefs announced that they have signed tackle Eric Fisher to a contract extension. According to the Chiefs, terms of the contract will not be released.

“We were able to reach an agreement with Eric and his representatives on a contract extension,” Chiefs General Manager John Dorsey said in the press release. “In three seasons he’s grown significantly as a football player in our system. He’s a tough, physical presence and a leader on our offensive line. We look forward to keeping him as a part of our organization and community.”

Fisher was the Chiefs' first-round pick in the 2013 NFL Draft. He's played both left and right tackle positions in his pro career. He's a Rochester Hills, Michigan native and played collegiately at Central Michigan.
