Chiefs fan honored as fan of the week by NBC Network

DENVER - Many Chiefs fans are pumped for the weekend, but imagine being a Kansas City Chiefs fan stuck living in Broncos' territory year round.

Noah Morton was named by the NBC Sunday Night Football social media team as fan of the week. Morton, who is originally from Ottowa, Kan., will tailgate on the NBC Football van, get free tickets to the game and an exclusive tour of Sports Authority Field at Mile High where the Broncos play.

Morton won because of his bold love for the Chiefs on social media.

It's a sweet payout, when you consider how much feedback a Chiefs fan gets living in Denver unwillingly gets, especially since he lets his one and four-year-old sons wear red on game day.

"I hear negative things from Broncos fans all the time, like 'Why do you let your kids wear that? You're raising them the wrong way.' It's pretty intense here in Denver. My son wore his Chiefs jersey to school Thursday and it wasn't well received but I was proud," he said with a chuckle.
