KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Chiefs are just the 19th NFL team to ever start a season 9-0. But their easy schedule and lack of offense are being criticized, even in Kansas City.
We wanted to know what Chiefs think about the critics. The manager of Rally House on the Plaza, Dirk Liebert, said they've sold much more Chiefs gear than last season. But store employees and customers realize there are plenty of skeptics who doubt the Chiefs.
"It's because we haven't done good in years, in years. So there's a lot of skeptics, there will always be skeptics no matter what we do," Lovly Walker, a Rally House employee said.
"It doesn't really matter in the NFL how you get there. You know, the good teams find a way to win," Liebert said.
"If you don't root for them, they're not going to come through for you. So, no, I think they're doing just fine. Let's ride with it and enjoy it," Mission Hills resident Mary Jo Ward said.
Despite the critics, there are still plenty of people who've jumped on the Chiefs band wagon. So many that Rally House has hired extra seasonal employees just to keep up with demand.
