KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Chiefs fans want to prove once again that they're the loudest in the world.
A representative from the Guinness Book of World Records will be at the Chiefs game on Sept. 29.
That's a Monday night game against the New England Patriots.
Kansas City set the record of 137.5 last season before it was beaten by the Seattle Seahawks weeks later.
“We're going to use all 80,000 voices, our hands, our feet, and we're gonna show the world how it's done grassroots style,” Ty Rowton said.
Chiefs fans say the higher the pitch, the higher the decimal reading.
They're encouraging fans to scream like "girls at a Taylor Swift concert."
