KC Chiefs set to take on Denver Broncos

DENVER - The biggest game of the day in the NFL is taking place this evening as the unbeaten Kansas City Chiefs invade Denver for a game with the Broncos. A check of the AFC West standings shows the Chiefs on top at 9-0 with the Broncos right behind at 8-1. The last time the Chiefs lost was in Denver last December in the season finale.

Broncos fill-in coach Jack Del Rio says that Peyton Manning is good to go. The quarterback missed a day's practice during the week with an injured ankle. This will be Del Rio's second game as Denver's interim head coach, replacing John Fox while he recovers from heart surgery.

Just how good a year is Manning having? He has passed for 3,249 yards, the most through nine games in NFL history. His 33 touchdown passes are tied with Tom Brady for the most through nine games.

In the AP PRO-32 rankings the Chiefs are No. 1 with the Broncos ranked third.
