INDIANAPOLIS - Good news for football fans in Indianapolis wanting to watch the AFC Wildcard playoff game on TV Saturday: Tickets have sold out.
The Colts announced Friday morning that Meijer, a corporate sponsor for the team, had purchased 1,200 remaining tickets for the game against the Kansas City Chiefs. The grocery chain said it planned on donating the tickets to local military families.
"Meijer understands just how important it is to support the communities where our customers and team members work and live, and are pleased to offer these playoff tickets to local military families as a way of thanking them for all they do," Co-Chairman Doug Meijer said.
Kickoff is scheduled for 3:35 p.m. CST Saturday at Lucas Oil Stadium.
