The Kansas City Chiefs have released running back Jamaal Charles, to according to ESPN.

Since joining the team in 2009, the 30-year-old running back is the Chiefs' all-time leader in rushing yards (7,260) and averaged 5.5 yards per carry. He also has the team's single-game rushing record of 259 against the Denver Broncos in 2010.
