The cost of heading to Indianapolis for the Chiefs playoff game

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - As the Chiefs prepare for their trip to the playoffs, many fans are planning a trip of their own to cheer on the team as they go up against the Indianapolis Colts.

Fans who don't mind road trips can make the 480-mile drive in a little more than seven hours. Gas will cost around $120 round trip for cars that get 25 mpg.

Flights will cost about triple that, with the cheapest running at about $450.

Hotels range in price, but the average cost for a three-star hotel is $150.

As for tickets, the nosebleed seats are going for as low as $90. Field level seats range from $200-$600.

Kickoff is at 3:35 p.m. Saturday.
