Trimble scored 21 points for the Cardinals Friday, helping their battle to get to .500 in league play.
RAYTOWN, Mo. - Our HyVee Athlete of the week is from Raytown South.
Bryan Trimble, the Cardinals’ sophomore guard, scored 21 points Friday night against Platte County. The team is battling to get to the .500 mark in league play. They won the page 69-61.
When asked what his goal for the season is, he replied, “Beat Grandview, win districts and head to state. I think we can win state honestly.”
His coach agrees.
“Bryan is a real talented young man. He’s had a good year but he’s had a great last couple weeks. He’s a sophomore that has a big future ahead of him,” Head Coach Brad Oestreich said.
