'Gangnam Style' spoof helps Missouri high schools win USA Today football rivalry competition

What does it take to win a nationwide high school football rivalry contest?

Star athletes? Probably helps.

Storied tradition? Maybe.

A competitive history? Can't hurt.

A Gangnam Style spoof video on YouTube? Ding ding ding.

Brookfield and Marceline high schools, in Linn County in north-central Missouri, were announced as America's Top Rivalry Wednesday morning by USA Today.

The "Bell Game," as the football rivalry is called, earned 1,761,259 votes on USA Today's website to take home the honor.

The two schools came together to produce a YouTube video ( http://youtu.be/5Q2kReZBXP8 ) that allowed those who watched it vote in the contest.
