KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Sporting Kansas City has agreed to loan Kevin Ellis and C.J. Sapong to its United Soccer Leagues PRO affiliate team, Orlando City Soccer Club.
Sapong has scored one goal and has one assist this year.
This comes after he scored nine goals last season.
Kevin Ellis, a graduate of Oak Park High School in Kansas City, Mo., made his Major League Soccer debut last month in a 3-2 win against Columbus at Sporting Park.
With the addition of Sapong and Ellis, Sporting has four players on loan to Orlando City SC. They can recall any of the four during the current loan period.
Sporting entered into the two-year agreement with Orlando City SC in January.
