Elizabeth Alex is a native of the Kansas City area. She grew up in Overland Park and graduated from Shawnee Mission West.
Mark Clegg joined the 41 Action News team as co-anchor of the 5, 6 & 10 p.m. newscasts in 2002.
Christa Dubill joined 41 Action News for the second time in September 2007. She grew up in Kansas and started as an intern at KSHB while still in college at the University of Kansas.
JiaoJiao Shen joined the 41 Action News team in July 2011.

41 Action Weather Team
In 1999 Gary became Chief Meteorologist at KSHB, 41 Action News. He established himself and his weather team as the most accurate in Kansas City and has been #1 in forecasting not only during his time at KSHB but since he arrived here in 1992.
Brett's has been with 41 Action News as the morning and midday meteorologist since 2002. He's been forecasting weather around the country for more than 20 years, most of that time spent in Missouri.
I'm going to go ahead and say this right away, I like snow. From blizzards to flurries, I think it's all great. Kansas City has some of the most exciting weather in the world! Thunderstorms, heat waves, cold snaps, ice storms, and floods along with a little snow on the side all keep my job here very challenging.
I was born and raised in Kansas City and I have loved weather for as long as I can remember. My mother tells a story that when I was a toddler I used to tear paper and make it blow around by moving doors back and forth. So, yes I am obsesses with the weather!
41 Action Sports
A legend in Kansas City, sportscaster Jack Harry has been covering sports in the area for over 40 years. Jack joined 41 Action News in June of 2002 and was named Sports Director shortly thereafter.
Lance is a sports nut. He loves playing sports, watching sports and, you guessed it, talking about sports. That passion led him to 41 Action News in 2006. He contributes to the 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. newscasts.
Frank Boal has been a fixture in the Kansas City sports scene for nearly 30 years, Now he brings that experience and insight to 41 Action News.
Reporters
Keith is an award winning investigative reporter with the 41 Action News Call For Action unit. Since becoming a member of the 41 Action News team in 1996, Keith has received two Emmy awards and two KAB awards for his reporting and investigations.
Ryan Kath is an award-winning investigative reporter for 41 Action News. He joined the I-team in September, 2010 after working for four years as a multimedia journalist at the station.
Lisa Benson joined 41 Action News as a general assignment reporter in March of 2004. You can see her live, late breaking reports on the 5, 6, and 10 p.m. newscasts.
Chris Hernandez is the political and City Hall reporter for 41 Action News. He has a special touch for putting political coverage in perspective.
Jake joined the 41 Action News team in August 2010 and is excited to continue his journalism career here in Kansas City.

Born and raised in Kansas City, Syed Shabbir is thrilled to be back home. He joined 41 Action News in December of 2011.
Lindsay joined KSHB in May 2009 as a morning reporter and multimedia journalist. She is so excited to be back at home in Kansas City!
A lifelong Iowan before moving to NBC Action News, Zach Tecklenburg is thrilled to be living and working in Kansas City. Zach joined 41 Action News as a multimedia journalist in November 2011.
