Sunday's Chiefs game is garnering a ton of attention and it's not just because the team is headed to the playoffs.
Here's why it's picking up extra steam.

Two football fans watched the game from the stands - their hands filled with cheese pretzels, beer and a cat.

It all went down when two animal lovers came to this cat's rescue. A group formed around the cat -- who was already inside the stadium -- near a  spiral staircase at the Hyvee gate entrance.

The little feline was visibly stressed out, so Samantha Blood and boyfriend Dan say they scooped her up and took her to their seats.

They posted pics on Twitter, Instagram and Reddit, all of which have gone viral.

"We fed her cheese from our pretzel and someone down below us offered their coat up to us so we could keep her warm, so we wrapped her up in that," explained Blood. "Everyone was pretty nice. She was just causing a lot of attention"

The two even gave their friend a name -- Arrow -- short for Arrowhead.

While she had no collar, they do think she is or was someone's pet, as she's declawed.

They planned on taking little arrow to a shelter, but as they were leaving the game, she escaped in the parking lot.

Perhaps she's the Chiefs' good luck charm hoping to sit in someone else's lap the next home game.
