I-70 and I-35 Work at Northeast Corner of Downtown Loop This Weekend

Interstate traffic will be detoured away from the northeast corner of the Downtown Loop Saturday night to accommodate paving and pavement marking, weather permitting.

Westbound I-70 at the northeast corner will be re-routed to west I-670 on the south side of the Downtown Loop, and southbound I-35 will be re-routed to the east and south legs of the Loop from 7 p.m. Saturday, June 22, to no later than 1 p.m. Sunday, June 23. This work has been rescheduled from last two weekends.

Here's a look at suggested detours around the loop:

Route 92 Bridge over Route 45 to Close for Replacement Work to Begin June 28

Replacement of the Route 92 Bridge over the BNSF Railroad and Route 45, commonly referred to as the Beverly Bridge, begins Friday, June 28. The bridge will close at 8 a.m. through December to allow the Missouri Department of Transportation to safely replace the 70-year-old structure.

Although the bridge will close, Route 92 on either side of the bridge will remain open for customers to access local businesses.

In addition, Route 45 under the Route 92 Bridge will close at 9 p.m. Friday, June 28 until 6 a.m. Saturday, June 29 to allow crews to demolish the bridge. Traffic can bypass this closure using the Route 45 Spur and Route 92.
