Snow falls north of Interstate 70

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Snow began falling late Monday afternoon in the metro.

41 Action News Meteorologists said most of the flurries and light snowfall was north of the river. They said roofs in Liberty and Gladstone may have gotten a dusting, but due to above freezing temperatures, the snow was not expected to be a problem.

The snowfall began around 2:45 p.m. Monday and was expected to end by 5 p.m.
