KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The storm system that is marching east is making it difficult for people to fly in and out of Kansas City International Airport.
Several travelers showed up to KCI on Thursday in hopes of rescheduling cancelled flights; however, many found out they'll be staying an extra day here in Kansas City.
Up to 14 inches of snow is in the forecast for the northeast.
Travelers like Ken Staver, who is trying to make it home to Pennsylvania, are trying to stay patient despite the change in plans.
"Anything we can do to get home today is the goal, but as of now it doesn't look like that's going to happen," Staver said.
