'The Voice' returns to NBC with new judges for its new season

"The Voice" is back.

The blind auditions begin Monday.

Season 4 also introduces two new coaches to the proceedings - Shakira and Usher.

Shakira may be new to "The Voice", but the international singing star fit in quickly.

"I was a little bit intimidated, nervous," she said. "And, you know, but... After the first 15 minutes, I was comfortable in my own skin. And I knew what I had to do."

Usher also announced his presence with authority and a slick move or two.

"They really do make it easy to come in there and just have fun doing it. But this is serious," said Usher.

It was also a serious move to bring the new duo in as pinch hitters for Cee Lo Green and Christina Aguilera.

"I was concerned the show wouldn't be quite as fun, because they're the wacky judges.  They're the ones who wear the crazy outfits, the crazy wigs," said Yahoo Music Managing Editor, Lyndsay Parker.

But Parker says the new coaching chemistry works.

"Usher in particular, is extremely competitive. He is like a snake oil salesman trying to sell these people on coming to his team," said Parker.
