Armless man throws first pitch for a major league team

CINCINNATI - A man born without arms is not letting that stop him from throwing out the first pitch at some Major League Baseball games.

Tom Willis is travelling across the country throwing for his "Pitch for Awareness National Tour."

This past weekend it was at the Cincinnati Reds and Florida Marlins game.

Willis wants people to see that those with disabilities also have many abilities.

Willis says he grew up playing baseball; he just played a little different. He throws the ball with his feet.

“Being born without arms, I had to learn to do everything with my feet and that includes writing, doing my school work, trying to find a different way.”

Willis is also a motivational speaker. You can check out his website at
