Baseball fans across the nation were treated to an inspiring performance not by the players, but by the man throwing out the first pitch.
CINCINNATI - A man born without arms is not letting that stop him from
throwing out the first pitch at some Major League Baseball
Tom Willis is travelling across the country throwing for his
"Pitch for Awareness National Tour."
This past weekend it was at the Cincinnati Reds and Florida
Willis wants people to see that those with disabilities also
have many abilities.
Willis says he grew up playing baseball; he just played a
little different. He throws the ball with his feet.
“Being born without arms, I had to learn to do everything
with my feet and that includes writing, doing my school work,
trying to find a different way.”
Willis is also a motivational speaker. You can check out his
