Kansas City Mayor Sly James' son in jail

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Kansas City, Mo., Mayor Sly James' son Kyle James is in jail Thursday stemming from a DUI incident in Olathe, Kan., back in 2009.

In March, James violated the terms of his parole and served 30 days in jail.

Again in June, court records show he violated his probation again, although the records do not indicate how.

He was arrested on June 4th and posted $2,500 bond on June 5th where he was ordered to attend a hearing on

Wednesday, July 17. In that hearing, the judge ruled that James did violate his probation.

His case is up for review on Nov. 20, 2013.
