Stephen Taylor is a fitness and strength-training coach at Johnson County Community College. He offered viewers his top three tips to healthy eating.
1. Stop Drinking Sodas and other sugary beverages
Taylor said soft drinks have a lot of sugar that adds pounds. He said that stopping soft drinks will lead to quick weight loss.
2. Eat Breakfast
Taylor explained that skipping breakfast sets your body up to fail because it reduces metabolism and could lead to over- eating later in the day.
3. Have a Plan for Food and Snacks
Taylor said making a plan and having healthy food available in your purse, at work and in your home will make it easier for you to reach for the right foods and stay on track for healthy eating and a healthy lifestyle.
