KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A tractor-trailer loaded with square hay bales caught fire Tuesday night on northbound I-35 just South of Lone Elm Road in Southern Johnson County.
No injuries have been reported but one lane of traffic was moving slowly through the heavy smoke at about 9 p.m.
The bales caught fire about 6:45 PM. No word on what caused the fire.
