Students respond to more drama surrounding the KU ticket scandal

LAWRENCE, Kan. - As students left class Thursday, they learned that the University of Kansas ticket scandal is not quite over.

Two Lawrence police officers are now linked to the multi- million dollar scandal that already put five people in prison.

Dylan Woodard, a KU freshman from Wichita, said he wants the scandal taken care of.

"It definitely puts a bad reputation on the basketball program," said Woodard.

Cameron Turner from Kansas City and also a KU freshman said he's not totally surprised.

"It kind of proves that anyone is willing to do anything to go to these games. Even though they are police officers, they are still people. They make mistakes and they want to go to the game too," explained Turner.

The students also said despite the scandal, they will remain Jayhawk proud.
