A stretch of East 23rd Street between Haden Street and Lee's Summit Road in Independence partially collapsed after a water main break Friday morning.
Traffic is now getting by in both directions on East 23rd Street. One last is for eastbound traffic and one land is for westbound traffic.
Crews are working to repair the road.
