New app developed in Kansas City all about bragging rights

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A new iOS app developed right here in Kansas City is all about bragging rights.

The Knoda app allows you to make predictions about any topic. Other users then vote on your predictions and the app finds out who makes the best predictions.

One of the developers, Kyle Rogers, said the idea came to him when he made a prediction about his beloved Jayhawks.

"They had an unbelievable class of incoming players and I went to my mom and I said, ‘Mom, when these guys are seniors, KU is going to win the national championship,'" Rogers said. "And then you fast forward to '03 and they are playing Syracuse for the national title and I go back to her and I'm like, ‘Hey Mom, do you remember when I said this to you?' And she had no idea of course."

That's when Rogers thought there should be some way to record predictions and be able to brag about it when you are right. Last year, he and a friend developed the app.
