Fans, organizers prepare for MLS All-Star game kick-off

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The world will have its eyes on Kansas City Wednesday night as kick-off begins for the MLS All-Star game at Sporting Park.

The best of the best in U.S. professional soccer will compete against the best of the best in Italian soccer. This includes three Sporting KC players.

It is so much competition that soccer fans around the world will be watching from over 131 countries.

"There are people I know who are getting up early or stay up late so they can watch the game," Chris Wyche with Sporting Park said.

Organizers are planning music, video, pyrotechnics, balloons with cameras, music, a surprise performer and audience participation during the show. More than 125 volunteers will also perform in the pre-game show.

Fans inside the stadium will be able access sports technology that's not available anywhere else in the world. 

That's not only exciting to fans at Sporting Park, but all over the world.

Sports teams from across the world visit Sporting KC to learn about its cutting edge technology and duplicate in their stadiums.

Two hundred media outlets will be covering the game as well.
