In honor of Red Friday, the Chiefs teamed up with Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kansas City.  Tami Greenberg, CEO of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kansas City and Rachel Enos whose family has used the Ronald McDonald House, explain why they need your help.

Details:

This Friday is the 27th Red Friday and the 6th year that the Chiefs are teaming up with Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kansas City.

* Each Chiefs flag will be sold for a minimum donation of $5, at all KC area McDonald’s and Hy-Vee stores. McDonald’s flag sales begin at 5am, and will only be available until sold out.

* In just the past two Red Fridays, nearly $600,000 has been raised for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kansas City.

* Last year alone, nearly $331,000 was raised from flag sales in Kansas City.

* Again in 2018: Chiefs Golden Flag Promotion. 10 golden flags will be hidden throughout Kansas City at random McDonald’s flag sales locations. The lucky winners who receive this golden flag when purchasing a Red Friday flag will receive (2) tickets to the home opener vs. the 49ers on September 23, a VIP experience that day, a Chiefs jersey, and Big Macs for a year from McDonald's.
