The Midwest Innocence Project is a nonprofit dedicated to the investigation, litigation, and exoneration of wrongfully convicted men and women in our five-state region. They need support to help the estimated 7,000 prisoners in Missouri, Kansas, Arkansas, Iowa, and Nebraska who may be wrongly convicted.

To raise awareness, they will host "Songs for Justice" at RecordBar on August 20th. All proceeds go to the MIP and will feature three local acts: Instant Karma, Una Walkenhorst, & Blue False Indigo.
