We're celebrating national cannoli month with Kansas City's most popular Italian Market and Italian Restaurant, Jasper's. Chef Jasper Mirabile Jr. whips up fresh cannolis from his family's cookbook. You can enjoy his delicious cannolis this Saturday, September 15, at the Cannoli + Coffee Pop-up at The Roasterie.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 Lb. ricotta cheese
- 1/4 cup limoncello
- 1 lemon, grated
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 6-8 cannoli shells
METHOD
Place all ingredients in mixing bowl and mix. Fill cannoli pastry shells and dust with powdered sugar. Serve chilled.
Chef Jasper's Notes: If you love Italian pastries, you're going to love my Limoncello Cannoli. The recipe contains only four ingredients for the filling and it's absolutely delicious. This just spells LIMONCELLO!
Chef Jasper’s Pumpkin Spice Cannoli
Serves 6 - 8
INGREDIENTS
- 1 lb. ricotta cheese
- 1/4 cup pumpkin pie filling
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 6-8 cannoli shells
METHOD
Place all ingredients in mixing bowl and mix. Fill cannoli pastry shells and dust with powdered sugar. Serve chilled.
