KANSAS CITY, MO — It is “National Reading Day” and we are celebrating. We recently stopped by one of Reach Out and Read Kansas City’s clinics to celebrate by reading to the kids. Executive Director Jenny Horsley also joins us on set to discuss the program more and how it is benefiting kids in the community. On behalf of the Scripps Howard Foundation, we presented Jenny with a check for $10,000 in support of their organization.
