KANSAS CITY, MO. — They are giving parents in need a second chance.
In a few short years, https://thegroomingproject.org/ has lifted dozens of families out of poverty and groomed thousands of dogs, including severely neglected rescue dogs. The program has achieved 100 percent job placement for its graduates, and more than 50% of its families are entirely off government assistance. Becky Blades and program graduate, Christine, explain how the project is changing our community.
