KANSAS CITY, Mo. — An elderly man is facing charges after he allegedly molested a child in the bathroom of the Central Library in downtown Kansas City.
Troy E. Flory, 85, is charged with child molestation.
According to court documents, Flory allegedly approached an underage boy in a third-floor bathroom of the library. The boy told investigators Flory came up to him from behind, rubbed his chest and genitals over his clothing and asked him, "Do you want to play around?"
The boy told police he then punched Flory in the face and ran out of the bathroom. The incident was reported to the library's security and Flory was detained until police arrived.
Flory admitted to asking the boy to "play around" but denied touching him, according to court documents. He did admit that asking the boy to "play around" was a sexual proposition.
