The extreme heat is bringing new business to local air conditioning repair businesses.
Jim Workman, owner of A.V. Heating & Cooling, already had more than a dozen calls as of Tuesday morning during the heat warning.
There are some steps that we can take to make sure our air conditioning units are working at their fullest.
- Change your air filter to help keep your AC unit running properly.
- Get your unit inspected at least twice a year.
- If your AC unit isn't working, turn it off to avoid other issues.
