Kansas City, Missouri, is one step closer to becoming a more bike-friendly community.
The city announced that its latest bike plan will include several new bikeway projects such as protected bike lanes and new public bike racks. You can read the entire plan by clicking here.
Construction on some of these projects is expected to start this summer.
When working on this story The Now KC learned that the BikeWalkKCgroup was upset that they were not informed about this announcement from the city earlier. We reached out to the city to get its reaction. Click here to hear both sides of this story.
