KANSAS CITY, Mo. — If you're trying to buy a copy of the new book, "Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House" you're probably having a tough time finding the book.

Stores across the country and in Kansas City are sold out and waiting for new orders to arrive. Rainy Day Books owner Vivien Jennings said she is asking her customers to be patient. A new order is arriving at her store on Tuesday.

"Fire and Fury" was released 4-days early to a media frenzy about the controversial comments in the book about President Trump, his son and the Russia Investigation. The increased publicity generated increased demand and stores quickly ran out.

"I'm getting calls daily of people ordering a copy on our website and asking me to hold a copy of the books that will arrive on Tuesday," said Jennings. "I think people are interested in reading the book for themselves and deciding for themselves what it said instead of just hearing media reports on it."

Jennings said demand is so great, she doesn't even have a copy; she's taking care of her customers first.
