KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Despite cooler weather, one of the most consistent signs of spring in Kansas City is the Rock the Parkway half-marathon and 5K.
This year’s race will take place on Saturday, April 14, and will wind its way through south Kansas City and Brookside, mostly along Ward Parkway.

Runners and spectators can check the race’s website for more information about the course and race amenities.
For residents along the route, Kansas City Police will block off various intersections along the route as runners pass. Motorists are advised to give themselves extra time on Saturday morning.
