Sea Life offers Valentine romance under the sea

With apologies to The Captain and Tennille, just forget about Muskrat Love.

Valentine’s Day should really be all about Seahorse Love.

Early this morning, Display Curator Curt Slocum became the Chuck Woolery of seahorse love connections and explained how these little creatures have lessons in love for those of us without gills.

First of all, they court each other by doing a little dance.

Second, they mate for life.

And the male carries the babies in his fleshy pouch!

There’s more to their love story, but the best way to learn it is by visiting Sea Life on Valentine’s Day for their Rays and Roses event.

You get a "buy one, get one free" discount and a rose before you stroll through the submarine romance scene.

So, this year, think out of the box and into the aquarium.
