Kansas City and Afghanistan are separated by more than 8,000 miles, two continents, one ocean and the world's tallest mountain range. There's no easy way to get there. Lindsay and Garrett's journey took three flights over three days. The longest of these was a 15-hour flight from Atlanta to Dubai, where they spent a day-long layover before catching a flight into Kandahar Air Field. Here's how they got there.
