KANSAS CITY, Mo. — To be so close.

The Kansas City Chiefs picked up their first home playoff victory in more than two decades this season, hosting the AFC Championship for the first time as a result.

They won 12 games and have what looks to be the league’s MVP.

But they won’t play in the Super Bowl.

The 4th and 1 Chiefs podcast took to the studio late Sunday night to wrap up a frustrating - if predictable - loss to the New England Patriots.

As the Chiefs turn to the off-season, the 4th and 1 podcast crew will be right there breaking down the NFL draft and what the Chiefs will need to do to be back in this position 12 months from now.
