KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Chiefs battled back into the win column Sunday with a thrilling 26-23 victory against the Minnesota Vikings on a last-second field goal at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri.

Harrison Butker’s game-winning 44-yard field goal snapped a three-game home losing streak and preserved the Chiefs’ 1 1/2-game lead in the AFC West.

Listen as the 4th and 1 podcast crew breaks down the victory and what it means for KC moving forward.

The Chiefs (6-3) are now 1-1 with quarterback Patrick Mahomes, the reigning NFL MVP, sidelined after suffering a dislocated kneecap Oct. 17 at Denver.

Among the questions co-hosts Tod Palmer and Nick Jacobs tackle: When might Mahomes return? And what has the defense shown during his absence?

Kansas City next plays Sunday at the Tennessee Titans.
