KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Five Kansas City Chiefs players have been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Wide receivers Tyreek Hill (hamstring) and Sammy Watkins (calf), offensive tackle Mike Remmers (back), running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire (ankle), and linebacker Ben Nieman (hamstring) won’t participate in Sunday’s games.

Running back Le’Veon Bell (knee) and defensive tackle Derrick Nnadi (knee) are questionable.

Other Chiefs starters won’t appear in the lineup Sunday.

Coach Andy Reid indicated earlier this week he plans to rest several starters, including quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

Chad Henne will start at quarterback as the 14-1 Chiefs head into playoff season with a first week bye.
