KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Some fans will be allowed at the men’s and women’s Big 12 Tournament this year.
Kathy Nelson, president and CEO of the Kansas City Sports Commission, said the tournament will operate at 20% fan capacity.
There will be no fan fest on Grand Boulevard or team rallies in the Power and Light District.
The Big 12 run will be conducted virtually.
Last year, the Big 12 tournament first limited fans’ attendance and then canceled all events and games amid concerns over the spread of COVID-19.
