KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Chiefs head coach Andy Reid has suspended cornerback Marcus Peters for Sunday's home game against Oakland.
Reid made the announcement in a news conference Wednesday. He said he wouldn’t go into details, but the suspension reportedly stems from an incident during the game against the New York Jets.

According to a report from the Washington Post, Peters threw a referee’s flag into the crowd after a holding penalty was called on a teammate.
A referee flagged Peters for an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty. Peters walked off the field, thinking he’d been ejected from the game, but returned shortly afterward.
