KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City Chiefs placed wide receiver Bryon Pringle on injured reserve on Tuesday.

Pringle was placed on the list due to an ankle injury he suffered during the Chiefs' Sunday night game against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Pringle had three receptions for 17 yards in Sunday’s match. He has recorded nine catches and 108 yards so far this season.

The Chiefs added veteran guard Stefen Wisniewski to the practice squad.

Wisniewski originally joined the Chiefs in October 2019 and was placed in the starting lineup at left guard in late December.

He started all three playoff games for Kansas City and signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers in free agency.

Wisniewski, 31, was placed on IR with a chest injury. Pittsburgh released him after his return.
